Each year 180 of Africa’s leading education professionals gather for African Eduweek, a prestigious 2-day conference in Johannesburg. The annual event is characterised by its various sessions and forums showcasing the best our education sector has to offer. Once again, Snapplify is proud to be acknowledged alongside fellow industry leaders as we exhibit our suite of digital reading and learning tools for schools.

Eduweek has always had a pan-African focus -- bringing the best in education from countries across the continent together. While originally founded in South Africa, Snapplify’s expansions into Kenya and Zambia embraces this pan-African attitude.

In 2017, Snapplify has worked alongside partners to roll out digital education solutions to over 500 Gauteng schools, as well as running digital learning pilots in schools in Kenya, and Zambia. The latter sees Snapplify’s award-winning Snappbox technology being used to increase access to, and affordability of, digital books in areas where internet connectivity is limited, and bandwidth is expensive.

“We are committed to the trends in education developing in Africa, being part of the conversation that brings about positive change and reform in our education system gearing toward a brighter future for everyone.” - Tarryn-Anne Anderson (Growth Director at Snapplify)

Snapplify’s commitment to finding solutions for emerging market classrooms that make world-class content a reality for all, has led to their nomination for one of the highly regarded Eduweek Awards. The awards aim to recognise excellence and innovation across the African education ecosystem for products and services that are life-changing to both the teacher and learners in emerging markets and beyond. Snapplify is nominated in the Basic Education category for contributions to South African Education.

Snapplify is also a partner to the Ed21 Forum, a collaborative partnership of like-minded education industry leaders working together to pioneer growth and eLearning in the digital education industry in South Africa. The company was also recognised by the London Stock Exchange earlier this year as one of its Companies to Inspire Africa in 2017.

Teachers and students visiting the Snapplify stand (2G4) at Eduweek 2017 stand a chance to win R2500 worth of digital teaching resources/study & revision materials from some of the leading educational publishers that are partnered with Snapplify.
