The Unforgettable Ball was held at the Elangeni Hotel in Durban on the 7th May. R193 850 was raised to support the testing costs involved when recruiting new potential bone marrow donors to help save the lives of patients suffering from leukaemia.
Mount Nelson Hotel was the perfect setting for the annual ball of the Sunflower Fund, on Saturday, 30th July 2011.

The Sunflower Fund held their Women’s Day Luncheon at The Vineyard Hotel on the 13th August 2011 with guest speaker, Justin Bonello.
A Musical Event was held on Saturday, 17th September at the V & A Waterfront Amphitheatre featuring exciting artists. Every participant took part voluntarily in this event and gave up their time to support and make awareness around National Bandana Day.
Not even the unkind weather could dampen the spirits of the hundreds of walkers as they arrived at the Mouille Point Lighthouse to take part in the 5 km Bandana Fun Run /Walk on Sunday the 18 September 2011.
