The winners of the MEA South Africa Awards 2017 have officially been announced, as a recognition of their innovation and drive to ensure business success in the region.

The Awards are the brain-child of the MEA Markets Magazine, which operates with the belief that the Middle East and Africa is one one of the world's most powerful, innovative and influential business regions, being home to countless leading firms across numerous fast-moving industries.

Following a rigorous nomination and voting process, a network of global industry experts and in-house judges carefully scrutinised every nominee. According to MEA Markets they were “judged on their performance over the past year, their willingness to innovate and even their competition to ensure that only the most deserving are named as one of our prestigious winners”.

Local green cleaning product manufacturer, Green Worx Cleaning Solutions, proved its eco-friendly approach. As such it was awarded as the Most Sustainable Cleaning Product Manufacturer 2017. “Green Worx Cleaning Solutions is South Africa’s leading developer and manufacturer of green cleaning products that are kind to people and the environment.”

John J Coetzee, CEO at Green Worx Cleaning Solutions, is grateful for the opportunity to cultivate a cleaner, greener and smarter world, starting with the MEA region. “We utilise advanced bio enzyme and sustainable surfactants to manufacture reliable, affordable and effective green cleaning solutions. The range is based on proven, world class eco-friendly solutions that are capable of eliminating all forms of dirt and grime without using harmful chemicals or damaging our fragile eco-system.”

MEA Markets confirms that; “These innovative solutions work with specially selected bacteria and natural enzymes to break down dirt and grease into organic nutrients which are then released safely back into the environment.” This means that both the home and the workplace can be cleaned and sanitised, without using harmful chemicals. This increases safety and productivity in the office, reducing staff absenteeism, and improving the air quality in the home.

“With our access to global resources, ISO 14001, Global GreenTag, SABS and Green Building Council of South Africa (GBSCA) certification, and our commitment to helping customers to overcome every cleaning challenge, we strive to create a world that is naturally clean,” concludes Coetzee.
