Aesthetic Homes has been established in 2013 with its core focus being the designing, fabricating and installation of high-quality, eco-friendly composite decking.  Since then it has become the market leader in the design and decking industry in South Africa.

During a recent interview with Bertus Van Heerden, Founder & Owner of Aesthetic Homes we asked him a few questions:

What kind of Products do you offer?

“Our wide range composite products consist of Decking, Privacy Screens, Cladding, Pergolas, Gates, Bomas, Balustrades/Railings, Custom Designs, Furniture and TIER™ Indoor Flooring. We are also experienced in Structural steel”

What materials are being used in the manufacturing of your composite products?

“Our composite products are made from the combination of 2 types of materials: 60% Bamboo fibres and 40% Recycled plastics.  This unique combination of nature and technology offers the aesthetics of natural wood, but with the strength and durability of plastic”.

WHY ARE AESTHETIC HOMES COMPOSITE PRODUCTS BETTER THAN WOOD?

“The products that we use at Aesthetic Homes are the perfect alternative to timber and we offer composite ranges to choose from. The first-generation composite range Eva-Tech™ is available in solid and hollow profiles. Our Infinity™ range is the latest and it is the most superior co-extruded composite range designed not only for outdoor, but indoor use as well. The innovation of co-extrusion technology resulted in the development of the Infinity™ range. This advancement allowed for the cellulose-polymer composite to be wrapped in a protective cap, further improving the product’s longevity. To cater to your individual style and specific application both these range options are available in a variety of colours, finishes and dimensions”.

Can your decks be installed over tiles/paving?

Yes, it often happens that we deck over an area that is tiled or paved. Underneath the deck, we use a galvanised steel framing system. In most cases, only a few tiles or paving need to be removed to secure the framing system to the foundations. The application of our decks onto an existing tilted or paved surface can be explained and assessed in detail by one of our professional sales experts”.

Where are you based and what areas do you serve?

“We are based in Johannesburg and we serve the whole of Gauteng and the surrounding areas. We can take on any large-scale project anywhere in South Africa”.

What type of warranty do you offer?

“Our Eva-Tech™ range comes with a 10-year warranty and our Infinity™ range comes with a 25-year warranty against splintering, splitting, rotting, warping or fading significantly”

Do you provide free quotations?

“Yes, definitely. One of our very experienced and professional sales experts will come to your home or commercial property for a free and no-obligation design consultation. We’ll conduct a comprehensive needs analysis to help identify exactly what you’re looking for. The sales expert will also take measurements of the area where the product needs to be installed. During the consultation, the sales expert will provide you with a brochure of our various products, as well as samples of our composite boards”.
